1 Open the Minecraft launcher.

3 Change your version to the Forge one. For example: you have installed Forge 1.7.10 So you need to select "1.7.10 Forge" in the edit profile tab.

4 Exit Minecraft.

1 Go to your Home Windows in your task bar, then type in: "%appdata%".

2 Choose ".minecraft" folder It should be near the top of the window.

3 Search for the "mods" folder. If you don't have it make a brand new one and name it as "mods".

4 Don't extract your mod file if it's zip when you download it from a website. Drag the zip file into the "mods" folder. If the zip folder contains the jar files, you'll only have to drag the jar file to the "mods" folder.

5 Open your minecraft launcher again (Make sure you've set up your Forge profile If not go through Part 3 again). You can click "Play" to start the download of additional libraries. Once the download is complete you can begin playing your mod game. It loaded and everything is up-to-date. All I see is the launch screen. Minecraft servers list What do I do?

Some mods require core mods (e.g. CodeChickenCore) so make sure to go through the mod's website before downloading it as it won't work if it doesn't have its required core mods.
