Minecraft Windows 10 is a Windows-compatible version of the original sandbox video game developed by Mojang. This Minecraft version, previously known as the Bedrock Edition allows you to play with a mouse, touch screen, or Microsoft HoloLens. It is also the first edition that completely abandons Java. Although the game has been configured for newer hardware, it maintains the same game mechanic: build your own world. The game's open-ended nature allows you create houses, builds, or other structures on multiple maps or servers. All these activities can either be done solo or in a group with Minecraft for Windows.

Starting Minecraft

Minecraft's main activity is crafting and mining, as you can see from the name. You will be mining gold, which you can use to buy supplies to make tools, homes, weapons, and other items. With the game's vast environment, there are a few activities you can start with. Minecraft Collecting logs is your first and most important activity.

You can collect logs from trees by approaching the tree and clicking it with your left mouse button. This is a recurring activity as logs are the base of the most valuable tools such as Torches, Crafting Tables, and Chests. Bedrock is another valuable source. Unbreakable blocks can be used to block intruders coming at you. You can create a shovel and dig up 4 layers off the ground. Here, you find coal and iron that you can use to add to your inventory. Although it is not essential to prepare for your exploration, it is worthwhile to bring torches and a sword along with a suit of armour. Torches are the most crucial of the three. Torches will be a good way to mark your route, as there is no clearly defined entrance or exit.

New features, capabilities

The Windows 10 Edition of Minecraft comes with more features that can enhance your world-building experience. Multiplayer gameplay allows you to play with three friends on a local server. Another feature is the customization tools for skins. This changes the appearance of the game's default characters, Steve and Alex, to one that meets your preferences.

Minecraft: Windows 10 offers an option to play offline if you are a regular Minecraft player. Some features will not work offline, such as leaderboard updates or in-game purchase. It is important that you know that offline multiplayer is only available for Single-player and Multipleplayer via LAN. Any achievements, on the other hand, will automatically sync to your account next time you sign-in to your device.

Fun world-building adventure game

Minecraft is a game that players can play at their own pace. There is no pressure to unlock new modes, earn points, or complete quests. The game's mechanics are extremely generous and allows a lot of space for creativity. The Windows 10 Edition of Minecraft is good for both beginners and fans of the franchise. It doesn't change from the original game and has additional features that make crafting more social.
